This page is dedicated to our special friends that have passed on. Each one has touched many hearts and will always be remembered in our memories.

Casey - Protector of the farm and loved by everybody, his spirit still lives on at Painted Acres. Casey is roaming above still watching over the farm.

Windy - A rescue horse that showed Melissa, Kathy, Ali and Brea how wonderful owning a horse can be. Now grazing in the pastures of heaven.

Mojo - Melissa and Jeff's beloved Papillon. From the day he arrived until the very end Mojo showed us how to carry yourself with pride and joy. (One picture shows Mojo with Vino, they are now together again in heaven)

We've had so many happy years,
What is to come can hold no fears,
You'd not want me to suffer so,
The time has come, please let me go.

Take me where my need they'll tend,
And please stay with me until the end,
I know in time that you will see,
The kindness that you did for me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I've been saved.

Please do not grieve, it must be you
Who had this painful thing to do,
We've been so close, we two, these years,
Don't let your heart hold back its tears.
